Portraits at Ke’e Beach

Ke’e Beach during sunset attracts many people. The green foliage of the Na’Pali coastline illuminates with a deep saturation. The blueish-green Pacific and golden shores make a picturesque location for landscape and portrait photography.

Shooting into the sun is usually frowned upon, but it can also allow for a golden washout effect. Sunsets have a magnificent array of tones and brightness that can be incorporated into a portrait. When given the option, I try a range of shots from both angles.
