About Me

About Me – Well I am someone who likes the quiet life. My future goals include farming, ranching, raising chickens, maybe have a few cows and sheep. But it doesn’t end there. I don’t want that forever. I want to travel.

I want to go to quiet western towns; to the red rock, the alpine and ocean shores. When I am done traveling the western towns, I want to head east. I want to eat the best shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico (of course after the worst of the oil has left their systems) then go north and taste lobster from Maine. I don’t particularly care for the richness of lobster, but I want the experience. While in Maine I would like to travel down to the Adirondack. I hear New York state has many beautiful waterfalls.

When I get my fill on waterfalls, I would like to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway in fall. I want to walk the beaches of  Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina then the dunes called Sleeping Bear in Michigan.

Somewhere between I want an apple orchard. A pecan grove. A patch of mustard greens. A bungalow in Kauai.

I don’t know how to make all this possible. I will create a list, and start marking them off.
Columbia River Gorge
Surf
Telluride, CO

Build a Cabin in Georgia
Yosemite Nat’l Park
Drive the Cassiar Highway in the Spring
Take Photos of a Dall Sheep
etc…

All of these experiences will be made complete with Anne.

Two Years Later:::
I’ve driven the Cassiar. Probably wont do that again anytime soon. Way too many mosquitoes! We drove to Telluride, CO. It was pretty busy but very scenic. We will definitely go way again. This time skip Telluride, and stay longer in Silverton, Ouray, Ridgeway and some of the smaller towns along the Million Dollar Hwy.
